I remember this day. As usual I was at my computer when I saw a tweet: Haiti: Strong Earthquake. This could be bad – was an immediate thought, little did I know how bad it will be… But right there, within minutes from the event I recorded live news coverage on this earthquake:
By now we know how desperate the situation is. I hardly can watch live CNN coverage from the grounds in Haiti…
And in a meantime I was working on the upcoming event on February 9 for Bay Area Executives with the exciting speaker: Jon Samsel from Bank of America. And I made my first call – to the owner of the catering company Samovar I am using for my events – Alex Alshvang. My question was – can we donate all the proceeds from the event to Red Cross Haiti relief fund? His immediate response was – YES. And I made more calls.
