Auction to Support People of Haiti

Few days ago I wrote about incredible companies and individuals in Silicon Valley who decided to donate their products, books and services to raise funds to support people of Haiti.

All these items will be auctioned off at the upcoming event for Silicon Valley Executives on February 9, 2010.

But I kept thinking about those people who would like to support this cause but cannot attend the event. It took me a while to come up with the way to collect auction bids right here within this WordPress blog. I have to thank TechCrunch for the idea! I used the same concept as described in that post: created a simple form, using Google documents forms. Then I used the embed feature to display the form in this post. And below is the link to a spreadsheet that will show all the bids.
